slTenTen: Corpus of the Slovenian Web
The Slovenian Web Corpus (slTenTen) is a Slovenian corpus made up of texts collected from the Internet. The corpus belongs to the TenTen corpus family which is a set of web corpora built using the same method with a target size of 10+ billion words. Sketch Engine currently provides access to TenTen corpora in more than 40 languages.
The data was crawled by web crawler SpiderLing between March and April 2015 and comprised of 829 million words. Term definitions were created by Darja Fisher.
Part-of-speech tagset
The slTenTen corpus was POS annotated by TreeTagger trained on the Slovene corpus ssj500k 1.4 and using the Slovene tagset MULTEXT-East version 5.
Tools to work with the Slovene Web corpus
