What is Lexicom?
Lexicom is an intensive 5-day workshop in lexicography and lexical computing.
The course combines practical work with language tools with theoretical perspectives digital lexicography, corpus building and corpus querying. It trains participants in the making of corpus-based dictionaries and lexical databases.
The course is divided into seminars and lecture presentations with practical sessions in which participants work with Sketch Engine. Participants work in small groups or individually to complete exercises or develop dictionary entries.
