guWaC: Corpus of Gujarati Web
The Gujarati Web Corpus (guWaC) is a language corpus made up of texts collected from the Internet. The corpus was prepared according to standards described in the document A Corpus Factory for Many Languages (Kilgarriff et al. at LREC 2010). Data was crawled by the SpiderLing web spider in 2010. The corpus contains almost 18 million words.
Authors of this corpus are Vít Suchomel and Pavel Šmerk.
Part-of-speech tagset
This Gujarti corpus was tagged with shallow tagging which is based on regular expressions and frequency properties of tokens.
Tools to work with the Gujarati corpus
A complete set of Sketch Engine tools is available to work with this Gujerati Web corpus to generate:
