Airports, coaches and trains
Airports
Apart from the Brno airport, we recommend the Vienna airport. The journey is much faster than from Prague.
The information below is only indicative, check travel and booking portals for departure times and travel times.
Brno (BRQ)
The Brno airport has flights from London Stansted (STN) and Milano/Bergamo (BGY). The airport is a 20-min bus ride from the city centre.
Vienna (VIE) 148 km
The Vienna airport is more convenient than Prague. Numerous flights and notably shorter travel time to Brno by train or coach.
Bus
RegioJet coaches run between Vienna Airport and Brno. The travel time is 2h40min.
Train
RegioJet and České dráhy trains run between Vienna Airport and Brno. There are direct trains and trains requiring changeover at Vienna main railway station (Vienna Hauptbahnhof). Tickets can be purchased online. The travel time is 2 hours.
Prague (PRG) 230 km
Take the Airport Express (AE) to Hlavní nádraží (Main railway station) from where trains to Brno run every hour. Allow for 3–4 hours for the journey between the PRG airport and Brno.
Bratislava (BTS) 145 km
Many low-cost flights fly to Bratislava instead of Vienna. Bus No. 61 links the airport with the Main Railway Station (Hlavná stanica) from where trains will take you to Brno in 1h30mins and they run every 2 hours.

The accommodation is not included in the fee. The participants are responsible for making the necessary arrangements. Here are some recommendations from us.
