plTenTen: Corpus of the Polish Web
The Polish Web Corpus (plTenTen) is a Polish corpus made up of texts collected from the Internet. The corpus belongs to the TenTen corpus family which is a set of the web corpora built using the same method with a target size 10+ billion words. Sketch Engine currently provides access to TenTen corpora in more than 30 languages.
Data was crawled by the SpiderLing web spider in December 2019 and January 2020.

Part-of-speech tagset
The plTenTen corpus was annotated by the RFTagger tool using the NKJP tagset, a POS tagset description used for the National Corpus of Polish (Narodowy Korpus Języka Polskiego).

Genre annotation and topic classification
A part of the Polish Web 2019 corpus contains genre annotation and topic classification. These can be displayed as corpus structures in Concordance or in the Text type Analysis tool. Genres refer to writing styles and are divided into four groups (blog, discussion, fiction, legal, news, reference/encyclopedia) whereas topic classification is inspired by categories used by https://curlie.org/ (formerly dmoz.org).
- genres cover 17.1% of the corpus, i.e. 830 million tokens
- topic classification covers 8.5% of the corpus, i.e. 400 million tokens
